This training does not replace required formal Kern Medical classroom, drill, or exercise activities. Demonstrations Demonstrations develop skills for a limited function. This helps staff perform properly in drills, exercises and actual events. Typical demonstrations for Kern Medical might include: • Use of computers in the EOC, including e-mail and other software • Use of fax machines and copiers (including electronic faxing and scanning of documents) • Set up of the EOC or set up of a triage or isolation area • Tours of facilities Kern Medical and others), hazards sites, and equipment storage sites • Communications use and protocols
