Kern Medical Identification Badges ID Badges are required (Title 22) and are obtained from the Human Resources Things to Remember • Your ID badge must be worn and displayed above the waist while on duty • You cannot work without your badge • Do not alter your badge (covering name, stickers etc.) • Don’t allow anyone else to use your badge to access any area • Be alert for “follow-throughs” (report unauthorized entries to Security) • Report lost badges to HR or (after hours) Security immediately • Associates who are authorized to handle infants/children have pink badges • Contractors who are authorized have blue bdges
