Vaccines • All employees who have patient contact will have antibody titers drawn during their pre- employment physicals • If you receive a letter saying you need a vaccine, its because you didn’t have antibodies or immunity to that particular disease • You can come in anytime during Employee Health hours for vaccinations - except for Varicella • Flu season ends in April, however we can still give the flu vaccine until it expires Why get vaccinated? Hepatitis B • Vaccination will protect you from developing Hep B if you have an accidental exposure MMR, Varicella, TDaP, Flu • Free vaccination • Protect yourself, your patients, co-workers, and families • Community Outbreaks happen
